Marios has a BSc degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Thessaly. He proceeded with his MSc degree in “Applications of Molecular Biology – Molecular Genetics – Diagnostic Biomarkers” in the department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Thessaly. Since May 2023, he is a PhD candidate in Molecular Microbial Ecology – Genomics, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Sotirios Vasileiadis. During his PhD thesis, he will study the risk of dispersal of pathogens and antimicrobial resistance, due to current agricultural production practices, along with current vegetable production methods and post-harvest trails.
