Maria is a graduate of School of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Agriculture Crop Production and Rural Environment of University of Thessaly, Greece (2017). She is a PhD candidate in the Laboratory of Plant and Environmental Biology, under the supervision of Associate Professor Kalliope Papadopoulou. Her scientific interests are focused in the field of plant-microbe interactions and how beneficial microorganisms and natural metabolites can affect plants’ defense system under stress conditions.
