Miss Eleni Lampronikou holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace. She also successfully completed her Master of Science degree in Applications of Molecular Biology – Genetics Diagnostic Markers, at the department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the University of Thessaly. Currently, she is a PhD candidate and research team member at the laboratory of Plant and Environmental Biology of the Biochemistry and Biotechnology department of the University of Thessaly, under the supervision of Dr Karpouzas. Her scientific interests focus on the impact and mode of action of compounds acting as nitrification inhibitors to nitrifying organisms.
