A budding microbial ecologist, continuously working to increase my skills and knowledge in the respective research area. The major focus of my scientific work is related to the diversity and ecology of microorganisms from various habitats (including cold environments). During my PhD and postdoc, I have worked on microbial ecology at various institutions in Israel and USA and published 16 papers in SI journals with 400 citations. Currently, I am working on a European project (ACTIONr) focused on improving the nitrogen use efficiency of soils by using nitrification inhibitors.
