Dr Evangelia Papadopoulou has a first degree in Agriculture and an MSc in Crop Protection from the School of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). She was awarded her PhD working jointly in the Laboratory of Pesticide Science, AUTH, and in the Laboratory of Plant in Environmental Biotechnology, University of Thessaly (UTH) in December 2013.The title of her PhD is: Study of the behavior of selected biological and synthetic pesticides in soil and their impact on the soil microbial community. She has participated so far in 8 research programs both in Greece and abroad. She has 11 publications in peer reviewed journals (sum of 5-year impact factor points: 38.773; average IF: 3.525) with 51 total citations (h-index: 4), 12 publications in proceedings of international conferences, and 10 publications in proceedings of national conferences. Evangelia was recently awarded a fellowship from the state scholarship foundation of Greece to investigate the in vitro and in situ activity of new potential nitrification inhibitor.
