Alexandre Pedrinho has a BS in Agronomy from the Sao Paulo State University, Brazil, and an MS in Science (Concentration: Biology in Agriculture and Environment) from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. His main research focus is to understand the effects of bio-pesticides on soil microbial community. He just joined the ARISTO project to pursue a Ph.D. in Microbial Ecotoxicology at the University of Thessaly, Greece, and Metabolic Insights, Israel. He will work on the assessment of the toxicity of bio-pesticides, mostly natural products of plant origin, on soil microbial diversity and functionality.
