Anna Manukyan has a first degree in Biology from the Yerevan State University, Armenia, and a MSc in Conservation Biology from the Université Bourgogne-Franche Comté, France. Her main research focus is microbial biotechnology and ecotoxicology. She has just joined ARISTO project to pursue a Ph.D. in microbial ecotoxicology at the University of Thessaly (Greece) and INOQ GmbH (Germany). Anna will work on the assessment of the toxicity of pesticides on natural soil and plant assemblages of AMF, by developing advanced experimental lab and field tests and exploring potential toxicity mechanisms using advanced molecular tools.
